NIAGARA FALLS – A fire heavily damaged a home at 1354 Ashland Avenue this morning, Niagara Falls fire officials said.
The blaze in the two-and-a-half story, one-family dwelling was reported at 8:11 a.m. The Red Cross was called to aid the occupants, whose names were not disclosed.
City building inspector Pat Ciccarelli said the fire seemed to have started in a children’s bedroom on the second floor, but the cause was undetermined. The house was condemned after the fire. No injuries were reported.
