Three Buffalo men pleaded guilty Monday to beating a man with a baseball bat, robbing him of $3,000 and his clothes, then leaving him naked in the street.

Jeremy Thompson, 27, of Pleasant Place, and Anson Spates, 26, of Rickert Avenue, pleaded guilty to first-degree robbery, and Monroe Bibbs, 28, of Maple Ridge Avenue, pleaded guilty to attempted first-degree robbery, according to Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita III.

They were charged with robbery and assault in the July 30 attack on a man in Thompson’s house following Thompson’s birthday party. The victim suffered two broken arms and other injuries and spent a few day at Erie County Medical Center, according to Assistant District Attorney John P. Feroleto.

State Supreme Court Justice M. William Boller set sentencing for July 11. Thompson and Spates face up to 25 years in prison, while Bibbs faces up to 15 years.
