A Buffalo man arrested twice in two months on drunken driving charges has pleaded guilty to two counts of felony driving while intoxicated.

Brian Myles, 33, of Parkside Avenue, admitted that he was drunk when Amherst police stopped his vehicle Oct. 19 as he was driving in the opposite lane on Main Street near the University at Buffalo campus. He failed six sobriety tests and refused to take a breath test.

Myles also admitted that he was drunk when Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority police stopped his vehicle at 4:50 a.m. Dec. 25 because he was repeatedly making U-turns on Main near Ferry Street. Prosecutors said Myles told police he was trying to find a nearby McDonald’s restaurant. He failed four sobriety tests and refused to take a breath test.

Myles faces up to four years in prison when he is sentenced May 30 by State Supreme Court Justice M. William Boller, according to Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita III.

Myles has previously been convicted of DWI and driving while ability impaired.
