LOCKPORT – A woman who took part in a Sept. 3, 2012, burglary at Becker Farms in Hartland must write a letter of apology to the business within 30 days and pay $500 in restitution, Niagara County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III ordered Monday.
Rebecca M. Schaner, 21, of Ridge Road, Hartland, pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal trespass and was placed on three years’ probation. She must complete 25 days in the county work program by Feb. 1, 2015, Murphy said.
Schaner, who had no previous criminal record, was barred from going near Becker Farms as a condition of probation. Two teenage boys pleaded guilty in Town Court in connection with the same incident.
