LOCKPORT – A Niagara Falls man who pleaded guilty to his second drug felony in six years was sentenced to three years in state prison Monday, plus two years of post-release supervision.

Antonio D. Porter Jr., 27, of Greenview Terrace, had pleaded guilty Nov. 4 to fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance after being indicted for three crack cocaine sales to undercover Niagara Falls police in late 2012.

Porter failed in an assignment to the prison system’s secure drug treatment facility in 2007, and Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas refused to send him there again. She told Assistant Public Defender David E. Blackley that Porter is eligible for boot camp-style “shock incarceration” and she wouldn’t object if prison authorities send him there, but the judge would not order it.
