A 48-year-old Wyoming County man was charged with driving while intoxicated following a one-vehicle rollover crash late Saturday night, state police at Warsaw reported Monday.
Troopers say that Francis K. Wisniewski, of Varysburg, was eastbound on Route 20A, near Humphrey Road in the Town of Sheldon, when his vehicle went off the north shoulder, overturned and landed upside down. The incident occurred at about 10 p.m.
Wisniewski was taken to Wyoming County Community Hospital for treatment of a knee injury.
He was charged with DWI, moving from lane unsafely, driving without insurance and having improper plates, according to police reports.
