Volunteers from at least two fire companies this morning battled a fire that fully engulfed a small building near the Paddock Golf Dome on Brompton Road in the Town of Tonawanda, police and fire officials reported.
Brighton and Ellicott Creek firefighters responded to an 8:13 a.m. alarm at 147 Brompton Road, described as a small building across the street from the Brighton Park Golf Course. The fire was declared under control at 8:35 a.m, authorities said.
“We are sending out our detectives and fire investigators to determine the cause and origin,” Town of Tonawanda Police Lt. Nicholas A. Bado said.
