A passenger in a car stopped on Virginia Street in Buffalo Saturday had heroin, hypodermic needles and marijuana on her, Erie County sheriff’s deputies said.
Ashley A. Alba, 27, of Depew was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminally using drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana. The deputies were on patrol as part of a Strike Force detail when they made the traffic stop shortly after 5:30 p.m..
Alba, who was released on appearance tickets, was turned over to Cheektowaga Police, which had a warrant for her arrest on charges of petit larceny.
