NIAGARA FALLS – A woman facing theft and drug charges attempted to steal 39 items from the Walmart store on Military Road Saturday night, police said.
Karen Rodriguez, 30, of Crick Court, was arrested after security personnel caught her trying to steal $335 worth of merchandise, according to police. Rodriguez also was in possession of 10 narcotic pills, police added. She was charged with petit larceny, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possessing pills outside their original container.
