LOCKPORT – A three-time drunken driver was sentenced Friday to five years’ probation, four weekends in jail and fines and fees total $1,555.
Jason R. Mucha, 43, of Old Beattie Road, Lockport, had pleaded guilty to felony driving while intoxicated in the wake of a Sept. 23 incident in which police followed him home and measured his blood alcohol content in his driveway at .16 percent, twice the legal threshold for intoxication.
Kloch tried to impress Mucha, the father of an 11-year-old girl, by showing him photos of an 8-year-old girl Kloch said was killed in Atlanta by a drunken driver who had a lower blood alcohol reading than Mucha did.
Mucha’s jail weekends will begin Aug. 23.
