LOCKPORT – A Town of Lockport man was sentenced Friday to 10 years in state prison and three years of post-release supervision after he flunked out of the judicial diversion program of court-supervised drug treatment.
Antwoine M. Henry, 28, of Slayton Settlement Road, had pleaded guilty Feb. 28, 2012, to third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance for twice selling crack cocaine to a police informant in 2012.
Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas said Henry violated diversion rules by drinking and associating with people his probation officer told him to avoid.
“He can’t live a sober lifestyle,” Farkas said. Quoting from Henry’s Facebook post this week, the judge commented, “He’s ‘lovin’ his drinks.’ ”
Henry served 2½ years in prison from 2006-08 after felony convictions on drug and weapons charges.
