Two men made off with 58 cartons of cigarettes by slipping into a delivery truck Saturday morning at the 7-Eleven store at 959 Niagara St.
Central District police said the cigarettes were stolen from a truck owned by McLane Trucking of Baldwinsville, which was bringing merchandise to the store. The men loaded the smokes into a black pickup, which was last seen heading east on Hampshire Street. Police estimated the loss at $1,000.
