NIAGARA FALLS, Ont. – An 83-year-old man was killed early Saturday morning in a crash on Catalina Street.
The victim was identified by authorities as Stanley Stevens of Niagara Falls.
The crash occurred shortly before 7:30 a.m. when Stevens was driving a 1995 Jeep eastbound on Catalina, according to Niagara Regional Police Service. The Jeep went off the road and onto Westlane District Secondary School property, where the vehicle struck a fence and concrete planter, police said.
Stevens was pronounced dead at the scene.
