Buffalo police were busy through Sunday night with rowdy revelers from the downtown St. Patrick’s Day parade.
Ambulances were called to the streets around Delaware and Elmwood avenues as the parade wrapped up, and multiple residents were taken to area hospitals with alcohol intoxication.
Later in the night, police activity centered on the Chippewa Street Entertainment District, where numerous people were arrested, Buffalo police said, including:
•Makennah Gridley, 19, of Cheektowaga, for allegedly fighting during the parade and resisting arrest.
•Mathew Bernhard, 23, of Buffalo, for allegedly punching a security guard in the back of the head.
•Darryl Urban, 28, of Depew, for obstruction after allegedly interfering with an investigation.
