DUNKIRK – A Buffalo man wanted for allegedly selling crack cocaine to undercover officers with the Southern Tier Regional Task Force in Dunkirk was arrested by Buffalo police, authorities said Thursday.
A Chautauqua County grand jury had issued a warrant for the arrest of Darryl Watkins Sr., 51, of Military Road on multiple counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal sale of a controlled substance, both in the third-degree.
The arrest came this week following a three-month investigation by the task force.
Watkins was being held at the Chautauqua County Jail pending arraignment.
Police said more arrests are anticipated in connection with Watkins’ case.
