A 24-year-Rochester man was in critical condition after his pickup truck hit a tree in the Town of Boston early Sunday, Erie County sheriff’s deputies reported.
Eric Suarez was northbound on Feddick Road about 2:59 a.m. when he lost control of his 2002 Ford F-150, crossed the center line, left the roadway and struck the tree, deputies said.
Members of the Boston Fire Company treated Suarez at the scene before Mercy Flight transported him to Erie County Medical Center.
The sheriff’s Accident Investigation Unit is probing the cause of the crash. Deputies said charges are pending.
