An arrest has been made in connection with a Nov. 23 home invasion in the Town of Conewango, state police reported.
Anthony J. Eames, 26, with addresses in Elmira and Erin – both in Chemung County, was taken into custody Nov. 26 in the Elmira area, troopers said. Eames was charged with a felony count of robbery.
Troopers said they are looking for three additional men who entered a house at about 1 a.m. on Nov. 23, assaulted a man who lives there and stole three rifles, a shotgun and a cell phone. Those men are believed to be from Elmira, as well.
