A North Collins woman was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, following a minor property-damage crash Friday on Route 62, state police reported.
A vehicle, driven by 43-year-old Deanna Waterman of Sherman Avenue and heading north on Route 62 in North Collins, slid off the snow-covered highway and struck a mailbox, before going into a ditch, according to troopers.
Waterman was charged with felony DWI after a check of her driving record found a drunken-driving conviction within the last 10 years, troopers said.
She refused to take a breath test, troopers indicated.
