Bullets were fired into a house on Elmer Avenue Sunday night, Northeast District police reported.
An elderly woman told officers that about five rounds were fired at her home at about 7:30 p.m. Two bullet holes were found in the wall, and three .22-caliber shell casings were recovered in the street. A witness told police that the shots were fired from a black Dodge Ram pickup truck that was last seen heading east on East Amherst Street.
Earlier Sunday, two men told Northeast District officers that a gun was fired at them on Erb Street.
The men said two men exited a Ford pickup truck and one of the men from the truck fired one shot from a handgun. The men then jumped back into the truck, which fled south on Erb Street.
No injuries were reported in either incident.
