LOCKPORT – A man who pleaded guilty last year to selling crack cocaine in the City of Lockport twice in 2012 was sentenced Monday to five years’ probation.
Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas had placed Dominique L. Middleton, 22, of Elmwood Avenue, Lockport, on six months of interim probation Sept. 9, after his June 21 guilty plea to fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. The drug deals occurred July 30 and Nov. 28, 2012.
In another case before Farkas on Monday, Donald H. Wegman, 52, of Rochester, pleaded guilty to felony driving while intoxicated. Wegman, who was arrested July 7 on Ridge Road in Newfane, is to be sentenced May 5.
Sheriff’s deputies said they seized several cartons of untaxed cigarettes when they pulled Wegman’s car over.
