JAMESTOWN – A routine traffic stop for alleged speeding led to the arrest of a 24-year-old Jamestown man for illegal possession of a switch blade knife in the town of Gerry, State Police reported Monday.
Mario Adams was arrested Friday afternoon on State Route 60 after he was stopped for speeding and troopers reported finding he had the switch blade. He was arraigned in Gerry Town Court on a charge of criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth-degree. He was ordered to return to court in several weeks for further proceedings.
