LOCKPORT – A man displayed a knife and demanded money at 3:20 p.m. Sunday in a South Transit Road gas station and then fled in a car parked nearby, according to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office.
A thin white man about 5 feet 9 inches tall, believed to be in his 20s, wearing a blue knit hat with a Sabres and Labatt Blue logo and a coat with a large British flag on the back was photographed on camera during his stop at the NOCO Express Store, 6233 S. Transit Road.
He fled on foot toward the rear of the store, jumped over a fence into the Woodlands manufactured home park, and entered a white sedan on Norwood Drive according to deputies. Waiting in the car were two other people.
