NIAGARA FALLS – The home of an elderly woman home was burglarized Friday while she was away for several hours for a medical procedure, police said.
Upon returning home about 4:30 p.m., the victim found the rear door open and door frame damaged, police said. Stolen were a 32-inch TV and prescription drugs. The loss was placed at about $430.
Police were checking video surveillance cameras on a neighbor’s home for possible clues to the break-in – the second at the same Hyde Park-area home in recent years.
