LOCKPORT – A Lincoln Place man was jailed on three felony complaints following a Lockport burglary.

On Friday New York State Police charged Marcus A. Walton, 34, with burglary second degree, criminal contempt first degree, and criminal mischief third degree; all felonies and criminal contempt second degree, a misdemeanor. He was arraigned in the Town of Lockport Court and was remanded to Niagara County Jail after Town Justice Leonard G. Tilney Jr. set bail at $50,000 cash or $100,000 bond. A return court date was set for Thursday.

Troopers said Walton allegedly violated an order of protection issued earlier in the week and went into a Lockport resident’s apartment without permission and inside the apartment he damaged the person’s clothing by pouring an unknown substance on it.
