LOCKPORT – A Lockport man was charged after he allegedly used racial slurs and obscenties at a drive-through window and then went inside and spit in an employee’s face at 6:20 p.m. Tuesday in the Mighty Taco at 5691 South Transit Road.

Michael W. Webster, 28, of Vine Street was charged by Niagara County sheriff’s deputies with disorderly conduct and second-degree harassment.

According to employees he used a racial slur against an employee and then another employee told him that they did not approve of his language. Webster reportedly went inside and swore at the second employee and spit in her face, while three families with children were in the restaurant.

Webster left the scene and was found and questioned by deputies at his home. He told deputies that he was called a racial slur by the female employee and went inside to confront her.
