A 21-year-old Thompson Street man was arrested late Sunday after allegedly throwing a neighbor woman down a flight of stairs after beating her and allegedly stabbing her in the hand with a pair of scissors.
Daniel Negron Santos was arrested on a felony charge of second-degree assault and harassment about 10 p.m. after his alleged victim was taken to Erie County Medical Center by ambulance. Police officers were told the two had an argument. The defendant is accused of repeatedly punching the woman in the face, back and stomach before cutting her left hand and throwing her down the stairs.
