NIAGARA FALLS – A 17-year-old woman told police that she ran inside a residence to escape a man who was shooting at her just after midnight Sunday, but the man fired multiple shots at the apartment which passed through the walls in the 3300 block of Ninth Street. A 7-year was sitting on the couch close to where one bullet was found, according to police.
No injuries were reported.
Police found two bullet holes from a .38 caliber revolver, just left of the front door and found two bullets which had entered a closet on the inside. One bullet passed into the closet, while another was lodged in a closet wall. Another bullet passed through both walls and struck a picture frame in the living room, just above where the child was sitting. The bullet then came to rest on the couch.
According to the victim, two suspects got into a dark SUV and immediately left the area following the shooting.
