LOCKPORT – A Niagara Falls woman pleaded guilty Friday in Niagara County Court to a reduced charge stemming from her possession of .16 ounces of powder cocaine in that city on Aug. 31, 2012.
Cindy L. Ventresca, 42, of Woodlawn Avenue, admitted to attempted fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and agreed to forfeit $508 in U.S. currency and $60 Canadian that police seized when they stopped a car in which she was a passenger.
She is scheduled for sentencing April 4 by County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas, and is to receive no more than a year in jail.
