A Rochester man admitted Friday to robbing six banks, including ones in Kenmore and Falconer.
Robert Stevenson, 59, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara and as part of his plea deal admitted robbing the First Niagara Bank at 2853 Delaware Ave. in June of 2012 and November 5, 2012, Northwest Savings Bank, 210 W. Main St., Falconer, in November 2012.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Mary Catherine Baumgarten said Stevenson also admitted robbing banks in Irondequoit, Syracuse, Utica and New Hartford that same year.
