LOCKPORT – A Newfane woman who joined her boyfriend in burglarizing a neighbor’s home was placed on five years’ probation Thursday by State Supreme Court Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr.
Sasha N. Botting, 24, of Hatter Road, had pleaded guilty to third-degree burglary and was ordered into drug treatment by Kloch a year ago. She and Travis J. Watts, 29, committed the crime Aug. 2, 2012. Watts is participating in the judicial diversion program of court-supervised drug treatment.
Each must pay $267.50 in restitution to the neighbor.
