LOCKPORT – A Niagara Falls man pleaded guilty to a felony charge of heroin possession Wednesday.
State Supreme Court Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr. scheduled sentencing March 12 for Jose D. Garcia, 54, of Niagara Street, who admitted to a reduced charge of attempted fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He faces up to 2½ years in prison.
Garcia, who was arrested June 19 when police raided his apartment, must forfeit $2,015 seized when he was picked up.
