NIAGARA FALLS – A 19-year-old youth told police two men confronted him just before 3 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of Ferry Avenue, struck him from behind and then started punching him.
The victim said he saw a silver blade in one of the man’s hands and was able to run away, but then realized he was bleeding and had been stabbed.
Police said the victim had a stab wound on his lower throat and on his right shoulder. The extent of the wounds were not noted by police, but the victim was able to walk to a hospital, before he contacted police.
The victim said he lost his phone and was unsure if the suspects took it or he lost it while running away from the scene.
