WARSAW – A 50-year-old Leroy woman, and a 27-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man both from York in Livingston County, were arrested by State Police after a nearly two-week investigation of the theft of electronics and other merchandise from the Wal-Mart store in Warsaw, State Police officials reported today.
Deborah A. Blackmer of Leroy and Miranda A. Ralston and Aaron M. Higgins were all charged with conspiracy and petit larceny. Ralston and Higgins were also charged with criminal possession of stolen property.
State Police said the three suspects are charged with at least twice last month shoplifting two flat screen televisions, a blue ray disc player, a laptop computer and other items worth more than $1,5000. Most of the items were recovered last week in a Town of York residence. y. All three suspects are free on appearance tickets. Higgins and Ralston face further proceedings in Livington County Court on stolen property counts. All three suspects also face further court proceedings in Warsaw.
