JAMESTOWN – A 48-year-old Kennedy man was arrested on drug and traffic charges by state troopers during a routine traffic stop on Main Street in Randolph Saturday, state police officials reported today.
Timothy J. Slater of Waterboro Hill Road, was stopped when troopers spotted an expired inspection sticker on his vehicle. A computer check showed Slater had no driver’s license because it had been revoked during to an earlier incident.
A quantity of marijuana was reportedly found in his vehicle. He was charged with an uninspected motor vehicle, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and unlawful possession of marijuana. After arraignment in Randolph Town Court he was released pending further court proceedings.
