A Corfu man in his 40s died and a West Seneca woman was injured about 11:45 a.m. today in a two-vehicle crash on Two Rod Road in the Town of Alden, authorities said.
Erie County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the crash, which occurred on Two Rod near Clinton Street. Deputies said the Corfu man was driving north on Two Rod when he lost control of his car on a curve and crossed into the path of a southbound SUV driven by Lisa Kluck, 46, of West Seneca. She was taken to Erie County Medical Center for treatment of injuries not considered life-threatening, deputies said.
The name of the driver of the car, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was being withheld pending notification of family members. Further information was unavailable.
