Orchard Park police arrested a local man for driving while intoxicated this morning, and just a few hours later charged the woman who picked him up after his arrest with DWI.
“Both parties were then released to a sober driver," police said in a statement.
The two DWI arrests started when police stopped Mark Odierno, 45, of Orchard Park, for speeding and failing to keep right on South Buffalo Street at about 2 a.m.
About two hours later, according to police, Danielle Wright, 45, of Buffalo, came to pick him up at police headquarters, but she was subsequently charged with DWI.
Police said Odierno and Wright each had a blood alcohol level of 0.16 percent.
