Three assailants attacked and robbed a man early Sunday in the Schiller Park neighborhood.
The victim was walking on Doat Street near Zelmer Street shortly after midnight when the attackers approached him from behind. One bandit had a gun. They made off with a wallet, cellphone, gold necklace and personal papers. The victim suffered swelling to his head and a cut lip, police said.
