ALABAMA – A Batavia father and son were seriously injured when their car crashed into a utility pole, spliiting in two, about 8:18 a.m. Saturday on Ledge Road in the Town of Alabama.
Genesee County Sheriff’s deputies said the driver of the car, Shawn P. Wolcott Sr., 30, indicated his car jerked to the right before crashing into the pole, and ended up in a cornfield.
His son, Shawn P. Wolcott, 10, was flown by Mercy Flight to Women & Children’s Hospital, Buffalo. The driver was taken by ambulance to Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo. Their conditions were unavailable.
