A suspicious fire in a vacant house in the city’s Broadway-Fillmore area early Friday caused a total of $30,000 damage to two houses, Buffalo fire officials said.
Firefighters responding shortly after 4:11 a.m. at 202 Wilson St. encountered a fully involved blaze inside the vacant two-story house. The fire scene is just south of Broadway, one block west of Fillmore Avenue.
The fire caused an estimated $25,000 damage at 202 Wilson and another $5,000 next door at 212 Wilson St., authorities said. The fire is under investigation.
