Buffalo homicide detectives today were still searching for a man who was wearing an orange hooded sweatshirt and grey sweatpants when he fatally shot 21-year-old Christopher Iverson of Buffalo at St. Mary’s Road and Walden Avenue about 1:40 a.m. Saturday.
After Ferry-Fillmore police responded to a “shots fired” call in that vicinity the still-alive Iverson was found in a car and was rushed by ambulance to Erie County Medical Center where he died that morning. Police said the lone gunman reportedly fired several shots at Iverson and then fled on foot.
