NIAGARA FALLS – An overnight clerk at an outdoor vending site called Blooming Onion said the cash register was stolen from the stand when he walked away for a short time to take the garbage to the dumpster at 12:30 a.m. Monday.
The stand is located on Mayor Michael C. O’Laughlin Drive and is associated with the tourist area of the city at One Niagara Street.
A total of $350 was in the cash register, which is described as black and valued at a “few hundred dollars,” reported police.
Video surveillance is located at One Niagara Street, the stand owner told police.
