A collision between a tractor-trailer carrying diesel fuel and a car on the eastbound Youngmann Highway near the Delaware Avenue exit about 3:30 p.m. Thursday triggered traffic delays during the afternoon rush hour.
Also, a two-car crash on the southbound Niagara Thruway southbound between Niagara Street and the Peace Bridge backed up traffic in the left lane of traffic, authorities said.Police said spilled diesel fuel had been cleaned up. There were no injuries in the Youngmann crash, police said. Further information on the Niagara Thruway crash was not available.
