NIAGARA FALLS – A 36-year-old motorcyclist suffered head and chest injuries early Saturday in a collision with a car, police said.
The crash occurred just after midnight at 27th and Niagara streets when the eastbound motorcycle struck a Dodge Avenger attempting to turn left from 27th Street, police said. The driver of the car, a 56-year-old man whose name was not released, was apparently uninjured and was not charged.
The unidentified motorcyclist was taken by ambulance to Erie County Medical Center. His condition was not available.
The police Crash Management Team continues to investigate the crash.
