Hamburg police are asking the public’s help in catching the man who robbed a local store on Friday.
The man entered the store Friday afternoon and handed the clerk a note demanding cash. The store employee handed over an undetermined amount of cash and the thief fled in an older, beat-up, four-door vehicle – possibly black.
Police posted a video of the suspect inside the store on the department’s Facebook page and asked that anyone with information contact Det. Timothy Crawford at 648-5118, ext. 2622.
Police did not release the name of the store.
