Two suspicious fires – one in the city’s Genesee-Moselle neighborhood, one in Black Rock – are under investigation by Buffalo fire officials.
Firefighters were called at 8:04 p.m. Monday to extinguish a blaze in the rear of a vacant a 2-1/2 story house at 24 Moselle St., fire officials said. Damage was estimated at $1,000.
But firefighters were called at 6:38 a.m. Tuesday to extinguish another fire at the same house. This time, the fire did an estimated $50,000 damage to the structure.
Also, firefighters were called at 1:18 a.m. Tuesday to a vacant, 2-1/2 story house at 85 Greeley St. The fire started in the attic. The blaze caused an estimated $1,000 damage.
