A Buffalo man unleashed a pit bull on another man this morning after discovering him with his wife.
The victim told police he was on a chat line with a woman who used the alias “Lisa” around 3:35 a.m., according to police reports. The woman then invited the victim over to her Lisbon Avenue home.
While the two were sitting in the living room, a male in his 20s or 30s entered and said, “That’s my wife.” The male proceeded to go through the victim’s pockets, taking $10.
When the victim began to struggle, the man let loose a pit bull, which left wounds on both of the victim’s hands and left leg. The victim ran across the street, breaking a window as he banged on it for help. He was taken to Erie County Medical Center for treatment.
Northeast District detectives are investigating.
