A fight at the 4Play nightclub on Chippewa Street early Sunday morning resulted in one woman taken to the hospital with a cut on her face, and possibly a second woman sustaining an injured hand, according to police.
A Buffalo woman told police she was cut in the face -- she wasn’t sure what she was cut with -- during a fight that occurred shortly after 3 a.m. at the bar, located at 45 W. Chippewa St. The woman was taken to Sisters Hospital for treatment.
A second woman told police that someone in the bar also tried to cut her in the face with an unknown object shortly after 3 a.m. The second woman told police she put her hand to her face to protect herself, and was cut in the hand. The woman refused to be transported to a hospital, but said she would seek treatment for her injury, police said.
Police said they suspect the two incidents were related, but did not provide any further details.
