NIAGARA FALLS – A man made off with $20 early Saturday after robbing a clerk at the Laundry Lounge on Niagara Falls Boulevard, police said.
About 6 a.m., the thief asked an attendant for change for a $1 bill, according to reports. When the attendant opened the cash register, he reached in and grabbed a $20 bill. The attendant grabbed the man’s arm but he was able to flee, police said. The robber dropped a $1 bill on his way out of the store, police added.
