NIAGARA FALLS – A house undergoing renovation in the 1800 block of Linwood Avenue was burglarized and about $1,300 worth of recently installed copper wiring and pipes were stolen, according to Niagara Falls police.
The 39-year-old victim told police Wednesday that he had installed $1,500 worth of copper wiring and found about $800 worth of the wiring had been stolen as well as $500 worth of copper pipe and a $150 wood saw.
The victim said the theft happened sometime since he had been in the house at 5 p.m. on Monday. Entry was made through a back window, police reported.
