Two North Buffalo men were arrested early Friday for allegedly stealing copper downspouts from a church, according to Northwest District police.
Arthur Wagner, 46, and James Allard, 36, were charged with third-degree criminal mischief, trespassing, petit larceny, criminal possession of stolen property and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the theft of the downspouts from Central Park United Methodist Church on Beard Avenue.
Officers Steven Maslowski and Jamie Miller were credited with arresting the men at 3:10 a.m. on Parker Avenue.
